HOPE is a free mental health platform helping women navigate real life challenges.

If you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you’re in the right place.

HOPE exists to help women in their journey
to healing and thriving with a guided online experience
that’s comprehensive yet financially accessible.

Self-directed therapy

at your fingertips.

  • Are you waiting to see a professional (e.g. counsellor or psychotherapist)? Long wait times to see professionals mean many individuals are not getting the support needed in a timely manner. The HOPE Platform fills in the gap by providing mental health support now.

  • We understand that therapy can be expensive. We believe people shouldn’t have to choose between groceries and basic healthcare. Access to mental health resources should be available to all.

  • Although there are apps available, e-therapy options are currently still limited and often placed behind a paywall. We are pleased to create a digital mental health platform available to all. Furthermore, the HOPE Platform was created right here in Canada, based on research conducted in Canada in response to the needs of Canadians.

  • Our research has shown that many women avoid raising concerns about their mental health to professionals or family and friends for fear of judgement. The HOPE Platform serves as a starting point for individuals to take charge of their mental health so each person has access to the tools necessary to make changes and self-advocate.

  • Our research has shown that many of us assume mental health symptoms are due to hormones when there may be a variety of factors at play. The HOPE Platform (and blog!) allow individuals to self-educate so they can gain clarity about their own mental health.

  • Do a quick search for e-therapy apps online and you’d find many focus on treatment but with limited or no evidence- based support. In the cases where apps and platforms do offer evidence-based online therapy, they are limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Do a deep dive into a specific topic via a mini course on HOPE or try out Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) in addition to CBT.
